Vicka took her first yoga class as a college student and found it very helpful for her stress and anxiety. She took various yoga classes sporadically throughout her twenties. Vicka eventually discovered hot yoga after having three kids and wanting to get back in shape. Being a full time mom and licensed psychologist, she was not planning on becoming a yoga teacher. However, after directly experiencing the transformative power of regular practice, she felt compelled to share the joy and the power of yoga with others.

Vicka’s philosophy is that yoga is a powerful tool to heal and transform the body and the mind. Her classes embrace yoga as a therapy for both the mind and the body, integrating mindfulness, compassion, fun music and humor into her practice and teachings.
